6. RecordXR

6.V1.9-01

RecordXR allows creating 4D recordings of sessions in virtual reality, capturing movement, interaction, and voice. These recordings can be used for lessons, demonstrations, or case reviews, providing an immersive teaching tool. While watching a recording, viewers can still interact with the medical datasets - rotating, zooming, or cutting through anatomy as needed.

Capture your interactions with datasets and 3D models in the scene, together with your voice if the microphone is enabled.

To start recording, press the 4D Record button on the main control pad.

Press it again to stop. The recording will be saved and played back automatically. You can now interact with the models and datasets in the recording. A recording marker will appear in the scene during playback as well, indicating where the recording is displayed.

You can find the recording saved at the top of the RecordXR section in the library panel. Key information, including names, dates, durations, and short descriptions of recordings are displayed there.

If you want to replay a session, select it from the list. Use the play button to start, pause, or resume playback at any time.

To fast-forward, rewind or jump to the specific moment of the recording, use the slider.

The sound can be toggled on and off by clicking the audio button.

To save the recording to your desktop, click the export button. This works only in the PC-VR mode and in the Remote Rendering app. On standalone connect the headset to your computer and manually transfer the file.

If you want to remove a recording permanently, click the delete button.
